What will happen?

We try to make our meetings relaxed, informal and interactive and relevant to ordinary people leading ordinary lives. No-one will be wearing robes or other distinctive forms of dress. Mindfulness meditation does not have any religious content but recorded speakers and teachers come from a wide variety of cultures. You do not have to be a Buddhist or a part of any other religion in order to meditate.

We have a lots of comfortable chairs but you can meditate sitting on cushions on the floor or even lying on the carpet. Sessions of meditation are led through by experienced teachers and last for fifty minutes or so. These are interspersed with talks, music and maybe short breathing or chanting exercises. Afterwards you are welcome to stay for a cup of green tea and discussion.

How much does it cost?

All our Mindfulness Meditations are FREE but we ask for volunteers and/or donations for The Mindfulness in Schools Campaign that we support.
